About Justin Fleetwood — Mizzou Senior & Graduation Photographer
Hi, I am Justin.
I’m the photographer behind Fleetwood Photography. I am a Junior Biochemistry major at The University of Missouri - Columbia. I specialize in senior and graduation portraits, and professional and group photos for student organizations. My goal is to take images that feel elevated but still unmistakably you. My sessions are relaxed, guided, and efficient: I’ll help with location choice, posing, and direction so you never feel awkward in front of the camera, while still leaving room for your personality to come through. If you want photos that look professional, timeless, and ready for everything from announcements to LinkedIn (and still go hard on Instagram), you’re in the right place.
Why I Started Photography
I started photography because I have always been drawn to the way emotion can become art. A photograph can hold a feeling that might otherwise pass too quickly: excitement, confidence, love, pride, nostalgia, or even the quiet in-between moments. For me, photography is about more than taking a nice picture. It is about capturing people as they are, preserving emotion honestly, and turning real moments into something beautiful and lasting.
How a Session Works
Booking is straightforward. You reach out through the contact form with your date, what the photos are for, and any location ideas. I respond within 48 hours with availability, a quote, and any questions about the look you're going for. Once we lock in a date, I help you plan outfits and pick locations on or near the campus or wherever else makes sense for the shoot.
Sessions usually run between 45 minutes and 2 hours and cover 1 to 2 outfits. I direct you the whole time—posing, expression, and where to look—so you don't have to figure any of that out yourself, but if you have any specific ideas, it always helps to make the session yours. After the session, you'll get your full edited gallery delivered through email with a password to access and a code to download. The final gallery is typically delivered within 1 to 2 weeks depending on the season, with high-resolution downloads and a personal-use license included.
Why I'm the Right Photographer for Mizzou Students
I'm a Mizzou student photographing other Mizzou students. That sounds simple, but it matters: I know the campus, I know the locations that actually look good in photos (Jesse Hall, the Columns, Memorial Student Union, Francis Quadrangle, Ellis Library), and I understand what senior year actually looks like—the timing pressure, the deadlines, the way grad photos need to be ready for announcements before commencement. I'm not a wedding photographer trying to break into senior portraits. This is what I do, and the people I'm photographing are my peers.
